If so, then join our volunteer team at Hope River Farm. Volunteers are the heart of what we do and are an integral part in helping us fulfill our mission. 

There are many ways in which to volunteer. These include working with our horses and riders or if you have a special skill.  

Ways to Volunteer

Program Volunteer

We ask that you commit to the full session length (12 weeks), as consistency is important for our clients.  If you need to miss certain dates, just let us know as soon as possible so we can get someone to fill in.

Responsibilities: 

Get horses ready for program

Leading horse w/student

Side-walking w/student

Other ways to volunteer

  • Grant writing

  • Fundraising

  • Social Media/Publicity

  • Special event support

  • Carpentry

  • Landscaping/gardening

  • And, feel free to offer special skills and talents!

*Volunteers must be a minimum of 13 years of age
